'Dance with peter' Finalists haven't been paid by Globacom???

Some days ago the winner of Dance with Peter season 1, Kelechi, took to this Instagram to cry out to the media and to fans to help plead with Dance with peter sponsors, Globacom, to fulfill their part of the contract. It's been month since the competition finished and according to the Finalists, Globacom are yet to reward them. He further to say that dancers are not beggars and that they should be paid.

These guys are obviously not smiling and if this is true we are equally pleading with Globacom to reward them so that they will be encouraged. Dancers are really not beggars.

Micheal Raymond dropped an Afrobeat collabo with Tsunky, Abdul and Mooyiwa about two days ago. The two minutes video was shot at Tanke Princess luxury hotel in Ilorin, Kwara State and was edited by Oluwatosin mark, IG @amazinmac . Thrillaz DC set to release #Addictionseries video on World's Dance day tommorow!

The Enugu based dance company will finally release the first video from their #Addictionseries that have been trending on social media for a while. They have decided to release it on World's Dance day to mark it adequately. The video will be posted here tommorow don't just forget to refresh the blog.

There was massive turn up in La Nueva hotel in independence layout, Enugu last week Friday. Yes the house party was a hit back to back, thanks to the smirnoff house party ambassadors and Dancezone. At least five buses from Nsukka were filled with dancezone dancers coming from the Nsukka campus of the university of Nigeria.

Yea if you weren't there you also missed some tight performances...

If you are reading this and you are a dancer, check the precious post on World's Dance day. We told you guys earlier about our free promo and broadcast package on the day. I hope your videos are in progress?...
But that aside first, there's a show going down on that day to celebrate the professionalism, talent and love of the greatest form of art known to man - DANCE!.

RIP Elvis Megwa (BOLD 5 DANCE CREW)

This is really sad... Elvis Megwa has been confirmed dead... Bold 5 dance crew came third in the just concluded Nigeria hip hop dance championship that held in Quadosh Place in kudirat abiola way, Oregun, Ikeja Lagos.
Well, this was how the unfortunate incident happened :

Elvis Megwa has a twin brother, Lewis megwa who is also in the same dance crew, Bold 5 dance crew. They reside in Olalekan Adekoya Street in Liasu Road along Ikotun-Idimu Road. One Alex Onuorah who stays in the same Street with them assaulted their younger sister on Monday night. The twins and their elder sister came out of the house to find out the cause of the problem. In a bid to resolve the problem, Elvis was stabbed on the neck with a broken bottle and his brother Lewis was stabbed at the back by the Alex Onuorah and his friends.
Trying to rush him to a Isolo general hospital to receive good treatment, he gave up the ghost. Lewis has been discharged presently..

It's really sad... RIP ELVIS MEGWA...

So for those of you following my posts, I informed you guys about the 'DANCEZONE SOLO COMPETITION' scheduled to hold on the 6th of May, 2016. Two of the judges for the competition have already being unveiled. Now they partner with SMIRNOFF VODKA for the smirnoff vodka house party.

UPDATE on #Remymartinsdanceoff 2016

The #AtTheClubWithRemyMartin club series is back this year with another exciting lineup. Following the December shutdown with 3 Clubs in 1 venue with 4 DJs and Wizkid alongside Davido performing together; the stakes are higher this time.

Come May 1 in Lagos, History will be made again as 4 of the hottest clubs in Lagos partners with #AtTheClubWithRemyMartin Allstar to present ‘The Live Edition’ featuring AfroJuju King, RnB Queen and Afrobeat King all on one stage on the same night.

Videos and photos from the ongoing 'Stars on earth' Dance workshop

It's a 3 day workshop that started on the 18th of April, 2016 and is scheduled to come to an end today. The workshop is organised by the famous 'Stars on Earth' Dance crew and Coporate World Studios. Malachi, the first runner up of the first season of dance with Peter was there on Day 1 to help in the instructing of choreography and some basic dance moves.

Today being the last day of the workshop, the 'Stars on earth' crew has decided to give out free 20 T-shirts to the first 20 dancers that arrive the venue. 

Venue : Corporate dance world studio, opposite conoil filling station, Eric-moore, Surulere, Lagos state.

DANCEZONE : A Solo dance contest (see some of the judges)

Good morning to you all. 'Dancezone' is a solo dance competition are brought to you by La Peggy entertainment to hold on the 6th of May, 2016, in Enugu state. It's a competition that was put together to recognise and reward the handwork of dancers around the country. The prizes are as follows:

1st prize : N50,000
2nd prize : N30,000
3rd price : N20,000

The registration is still on and the form costs only N2,000 and is obtainable at Lion FM and Marlima in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu state. For dancers that are far from Enugu don't bother just call any of these numbers for registration : 07032555532, 08080099960, 07039460713.

1. KELVIN ANYARUOH (IG @iam_kelz) 

Kelvin is a dancer of Abuja based dance crew, ELEVATORZ NIGERIA. He is also the winner of Dance with Peter Season 1, 2nd runner up of the matina dance all season 8 and also the choreographer of the Korean kpop champions in 2012. Wow! 

2. SAMSON ATUONWU (IG @captainzee_elevatorz) 

Samson is the leader of the ELEVATORZ dance crew. He won the Best choreographer in Abuja in 2015 and is also a singer and a stage actor. 

3. The last judge is a girl and very soon ull know her ☺ so grab your forms guys... It's gonna be HOT!!!
